My name is Rob Gaskell (Robert Owen Hugh Gaskell).  My wife, Elaine, and I live in North Bedfordshire, England.

My Gaskell Family History goes back in the UK to Thomas Gaskill of Cheshire and his son, John Gaskell of Manchester 1677 - 1743, whose wife was Elizabeth Thumpston; and forward to my granddaughters and grandson.  Many female lines go back considerably further.

I have been researching my Family History for almost 40 years - more seriously since I have semi retired.

Over  the years I have written, as far as possible, a history of each individual, with associated documents, as Appendices, and many photographs. Too much to include in total within this web site

However, detailed information on the family branches can be referred to on the family pages accessed to the left, which will lead to links to a number of detailed individual histories.  I will be pleased to share this data and considerably more information I have, with any genuinely interested party.  Equally, I hope that anybody who views this site and has information to share with me, will do so.
