Daughter of Edward Webb and Hannah, mother of Ann Giles and wife of John Giles
Ann was baptised in Gayton, Northamptonshire on 6th January 1821. Her father’s employment was noted as a labourer.
Ann was living in Easton at the time of her marriage to John in 1844.
Ann appears in the 1861 Census for Weedon as a widow with daughter Ann, aged 5 and two sons, William aged 8 and John aged 12.
The 1871 Census records Ann aged 51 with her daughter Emma aged 23 and John aged 22 still at home.
The 1881 Weedon Census reveals Ann aged 59 living with her father, Edward Webb aged 81, a widow and agricultural labourer
According to the 1891 Census, Ann was living with her son, Johnand his family in Passenham, Northamptonshire. She was then a lacemaker
In 1901, Ann was still living with her son, John and his family. In Passenham and was still a lacemaker.
Ann died at the age of 88 in Old Stratford, Pottersbury, Northamptonshire, but was buried at Weedon Lois Church on 3rd March 1910.
