Phillipus Kynaston

Son of Griffith Kynaston and Gwen verch Iorwerth, father of Madocus Kynaston and husband of Gweruilla Vychan

Philip, born c.1270, was of Kinnerley, Shropshire. He was called Phillip ap Griffith by the Welsh. He married Gweruilla (Gwervil) Vychan, borne c.1270, daughter and heir of Rogerus Vychan – Sir Roger Powis ap Grono ap Tudor of Whittington, Shropshire.

Philippus and Gweruilla had two sons recorded:

 Madocus Kynaston born c.1300

Magnus ap Philippus Kyanston married and had a son, Carhowell Kynaston
