Son of Mareddud ap Bleddyn ap Cynfyn and Eua verch Beti ap Endowen Bendow, father of Griffith Vychan and husband of Maud de Manley
Iorwerth (also known as Iowerth Gogh Maredudd), bornc.1106, was of Carhowell, Kinnerley, Shropshire and was Lord of Monchant-is-Rhayadr. He married Maud de Manly, also known as Matilda, the daughter of Roger de Manley (Marley) of Chester.
Iowerth and Maud had two sons recorded:
Griffith Vychan born c.1150
Howellus ap Iowerth of Carhowell
Iowereth died c.1177
