Albert Nalton: c.1867 Albert was born in Driffield, aged 4 according to the 1871 Census and living in Eastgate, Driffield. According to the 1881 Census he was aged 14 and an errand boy, living at 50 Eastgate, Driffield. According to the 1901 Census, Albert, aged 34 and his wife, Mary Emma Russell, known as Emma, aged 35 and born in West Lutton, Yorkshire, were then living at 5 Cromwell Street, Great Driffield. The following children were at home:
Fred Albert Nalton aged 9 and born in Hull. He was a Corporal, service number 2491, in the Yorkshire Regiment, C Company 5th Battalion, aged 26,when he was killed in action during the First World War on 6th August 1916; the son of Albert and Emma of 53 Eastgate, North Driffield. Fred was buried in Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension (Nord) Grave reference H.F. 142
Kate Russell Nalton aged 8 and born in Hull
Joseph Mark Nalton aged 6 and born in Driffield. He was a Private, service number 9723, in the East Yorkshire Regiment, 1st Battalion, aged 19, when he was killed in action during the First World War on 23rd September 1914; the son of Albert and Emma of 53 East Gate, North Driffield. Edith Nalton: 14 June 1871 - 10 December 1964 Edith was born in Driffield, aged 9 according to the 1881 Census and living in 50 Eastgate, Driffield. According to the 1891 Census, she was aged 19 and a Dressmaker. Edith married John Gill on 22nd April 1895 at the Westborough Wesleyan Chapel in Scarborough.

Bertha Nalton: 1873 Bertha was born in Driffield, aged 7 according to the 1881 Census and living in 50 Eastgate, Driffield and a Scholar. She married her cousin, Herbert Nalton in late 1896. According to the 1901 Census, Herbert, aged 26 and Bertha, aged 27, were living at 25 St James Street, Scarborough. Herbert was a Police Constable, born in Driffield. The following were at home:

Edwin Nalton: 1886 - 28 Jun 1916 According to the 1891 Census, Edwin was aged 5. He was a Scholar. According to the 1901 Census, Edwin, aged 14, a barber, was living with his sister Bertha and her husband,, Herbert Nalton at 20 St James Street, Scarborough. Edwin married Elizabeth Wyrill Dyson in Scarborough in mid 1907. He joined the Royal Field Artillery as a Shoeing Smith during the First World War, Service No. L/12152. His Unit was “C” Battery, 161st Brigade. He was killed on the 28th June 1916, aged 30 and buried in Scarborough Manor Road Cemetery Plot L.5.37. His home was 8 Durham Cottages, Scarborough
